I wish I’d read the reviews on broadband compare before signing up. Beware the connection fee, it’s neither justified nor refundable. Their communications were poor from the outset and their website is poor. They asked me to update my phone contact but the user account pages / profile very minimal. No phone support service and the webchat form was only alive during enrolment but not there for support, so it's coms only by email and it felt like communicating with an AI robot.
I’m guessing this is an offshore operation with no commitment to NZ. I’m reasonably tech savvy but dodgy email only support isn’t ideal if you do have an issue. Looking at the reviews confirmed my suspicions so I bailed out before connection, however they get to enjoy my $50 connection fee without actually connecting, but at least they refunded the first month service fee.
